Designers Trust has entered a new era of cooperation with DeTao Group

Designers Trust has entered a new era of cooperation with DeTao Group, located at the campus of Shanghai Institute of Visual arts (SIVA) in China, where Timothy Jacob Jensen is affiliated professor and lecturer, under renowned Fudan University.

Designers Trust is moving into a 550 square meter design studio on the 8th floor. The studio is furnished and decorated as an extension of the legendary Jensen family’s studio in Hejlskov, Denmark, which today is the home of Designers Trust.

The studio in Shanghai was originally opened in 2012 by the speaker of the Danish parliament at the time: Mr. Mogens Lykketoft,  who later served as the leader of the UN general assembly in 2015.

Timothy Jacob Jensen was also present at the opening of the studio, as Chief designer and CEO of Jacob Jensen Design.

After Timothy Jacob Jensen detached himself from Jacob Jensen Design in 2018, DeTao and SIVA phased out their agreement with Jacob Jensen Design.

Now there is a Danish representation at Detao Group again, as Designers Trust and Timothy Jacob Jensen are returning to the domestic and well known corridors, introducing the design-as-a-service platform, with approximately 100 associated international designers ready to assist Chinese companies with premium design.
